Meet Elaine Luria and Scott Taylor on campus this month
University News | October 2, 2018
Congressional candidate Elaine Luria and Congressman Scott Taylor will visit 小奶猫直播 in October to meet members of the VWU community, deliver remarks, and answer questions. The visits were coordinated by Wesleyan Engaged: Center for Civic Leadership and Service Learning and the Departments of Political Science and Recreation and Leisure Studies in an effort to prepare students for election day on November 6.
"This is a great opportunity for our campus community to interact with the candidates," says Leslie Caughell, Associate Professor of Political Science and Chair of the Political Science Department. "Students will be able to share things they are concerned about and bring to the attention of the candidates some issues not currently addressed in contemporary politics."
